Classes this year are going to be a little bit different from the last two years that I have taught and I think you will like at least one of the changes!
First off I had major back surgery over the summer and will not be able to do any of the workouts with you guys this year. (You can see the pictures on facebook! There pretty sweet!) I will be able to start back up in January so this semester I'm just watching and teaching!
This year we are going to have some set workouts that we will randomly do once a week through out the year. These workouts will be called M.O.B. (Mind Over Body) workouts - they are going to be more difficult then the rest of the workouts that we do but you will be fine!! Just go at your own pace with these workouts! I will not be providing notebooks like I did for M.O.B. last year but I would encourage everyone to bring their own notebook each day to class so that you can write down the workouts and keep track of your progress. I want you to be able to see your progress.The only way to know if your getting stronger or faster is by keeping track! Also writing down the workouts will give you your own workout book that you can take and use during the summers.
Each day the work out will be posted on the white board in the aerobic room. I will explain what the work out is and have someone that has been to my classes before demonstrate the moves since I will not be able to.
The schedule for this year will be:
Monday: Plyo workout
Tuesday: Strength workout
Wednesday: Will be our easy day so some days it might just be stretching
Thursday: Cardio workout
Friday: M.O.B. work out
** The schedule is subject to change M.O.B. will not always be on a Friday... so dont try to avoid fridays!I am still trying to figure out the time that the classes will be at but I will let you know as soon as I know!
